Ceni enalteceu a semelhança da saída de bola do Fla de Paulo Sousa com a equipe comanda por ele, que ficou oito meses no Ninho do Urubu, até ser demitido em julho de 2021.
– O Flamengo tem jogadores que fazem a diferença, eu sei a qualidade técnica que o Flamengo tem. Eu sei a saída de bola com Arão, Filipe Luís, a gente saía exatamente assim. É um time difícil de marcar, por isso a gente tem que aproveitar quando está superior e tentar fazer o segundo gol, como tivemos a oportunidade de marcar. É um time que sobra em qualidade técnica – disse o comandante do São Paulo.
Ceni foi quem iniciou o improviso de Arão na zaga, função que atuou nos três últimos jogos com Paulo Sousa. Sempre pelo lado direito da zaga. Com Rogério, Filipe Luís também integrava a saída de três, pelo lado esquerdo, o que levou o treinador brasileiro a apontar a semelhança com a estratégia de sua época no Fla, que está em evolução taticamente.

الجدير بالذكر أن محاولة الاعتداء على الحكم ريكاردو دي بورجوس، الذي كان يدير المباراة، جاءت بعد سلسلة من التصريحات المتوترة من جانب ريال مدريد حول التحكيم.
خاصة في ظل الجدل المستمر قبل بداية المباراة بين ريال مدريد والحكام، لكن تصرف روديجر قوبل بإدانة من جميع الأطراف.

وتحدث أرتيتا في تصريحات صحفية بعد المباراة: “أولًا، أهنئ باريس سان جيرمان على وصوله إلى النهائي، سأقوم بهذا التقييم عندما أكون أكثر هدوءً”.
وأكمل: “عندما تنظر إلى المباراتين، تجد أن أفضل لاعب فيهما على أرض الملعب هو حارس المرمى، كنا قريبين جدًا، أقرب بكثير مما أظهرته النتيجة، ولكن للأسف خرجنا، أنا فخور جدًا باللاعبين”.

However, MP hung in there and made a solid beginning to their own innings, finishing on 123 for 1 at stumps, trailing Mumbai by 251.Yash Dubey, out to two somewhat debatable calls in the semi-finals, was unbeaten on 44. He was overshadowed by Shubham Sharma, who battled a lot more positively to keep the scoreboard moving along, thereby giving Prithvi Shaw and co something to think about as an all-out attacking field slowly spread out as the final session progressed. Towards the end, Dubey managed to even overtake Shubham as their partnership was worth 76.All said, Mumbai still have the runs to play with but MP won’t be too disappointed either, given they are also playing an extra batter in debutant Parth Sahani. Their stonewaller Himanshu Mantri would be disappointed, though, missing out on a start as he fell for 31 in the first over after tea as he played all around a full Tushar Deshpande delivery to be trapped lbw. It broke a stubborn 47-run opening stand to lift Mumbai after the fast bowlers probed away without much luck prior to the tea interval.After tea, Dubey and Shubham raised a half-century stand off 89 deliveries. Just as they were beginning to look increasingly at ease, a change of ball in the final session seemed to make a difference as Deshpande and Mohit Avasthi forced the batters to shut shop by delivering a probing spell of reverse swing bowling as stumps loomed.Reverse swing aside, Avasthi, the first-change bowler, impressed in short bursts, occasionally getting the ball to rear up to make Dubey uncomfortable, but he couldn’t sustain it for long enough. As spin came on, both batters kept milking runs. Shams Mulani, easily Mumbai’s best bowler so far this season with 37 scalps at an average of 15.64, was particularly picked off with ease. He conceded 46 runs in 11 wicketless overs. More than the runs, that he couldn’t even cause a flutter would worry the team management.The morning entirely belonged to Mumbai as Sarfaraz bailed the team out with the lower order. He found some staunch resistance from Dhawal Kulkarni as he got to a well-constructed eighth first-class century. It took him 152 balls to get to a half-century, and only 38 more for him to complete the hundred. He was particularly severe on the spinners as he used the full-blooded sweep to good effect.The first eight overs produced just 10, but Sarfaraz was happy to play himself in and temper his game to give bowlers the first hour. He reined in his shots, resisted temptation to try and pick off cheeky boundaries like he usually does, focused fully on playing orthodox cricket.After Mulani was out second ball, Tanush Kotian barely survived, pushing, and prodding against the fast bowlers before an unplayable delivery got him when Gaurav Yadav bowled him with a superb away-swinger to flatten his off stump. Yadav, who wheeled away without any luck on the opening day, had four wickets to show for his efforts by the end.Kulkarni’s stonewall for a better part of an hour allowed Sarfaraz to play big shots. He got to a century with a lofted hit down the ground off Kumar Kartikeya’s left-arm spin. His animated celebration thereafter had the sparse crowd, national selectors and his team-mates give him a standing ovation. He added 34 runs more but eventually fell playing one big shot too many. By then, Mumbai were in an excellent position, leaving MP to do all the running to try and remain in the game, which they have.
Liverpool are now in direct talks over a move for an “unbelievable” player, who has been identified as a priority target to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold, according to a report.

Alexander-Arnold is still yet to commit to a new contract at Anfield, with Real Madrid holding a strong interest in the right-back’s signature, but the Reds are doing everything they can to keep hold of the 26-year-old.
A bumper new contract offer has been tabled in a bid to keep Alexander-Arnold on Merseyside for a further five years. However, as yet there are no signs the right-back is willing to commit to fresh terms.
As such, Arne Slot has now started to look at replacements for the England international, and last week it was revealed that Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich is of interest, with his £300k-per-week contract set to expire in the summer.
Now, there has been a new update on Liverpool’s pursuit of Kimmich, with Sky Sports France reporting that direct talks have now been held over a deal for the versatile defender.
The Reds have now identified the German as their priority target, in the event that Alexander-Arnold exits Anfield, as they are particularly impressed by his versatility.

Trent is widely regarded as one of the best right-backs in the world, so it is promising news that Liverpool could replace him with a player of a similar quality, with Kimmich being lauded as “unbelievable” by Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount.
The Germany international is capable of playing at right-back and central midfield, making him a versatile option for Slot, and it also means that Conor Bradley could be afforded more opportunities at right-back.
That said, Liverpool will still be hoping that their academy graduate agrees to extend his stay at Anfield, considering how big a part he has played in their success for a number of years.

England have built a reputation of going hard from the get-go in both white-ball formats, and India, who have traditionally been known to build their innings methodically before going big in the death overs, also took the all-out aggressive route in the T20I series. Whether or not they continue with this approach in the ODIs remains to be seen, but conditions should assist quick run-getting, with surfaces at The Oval usually among the flatter ones in England.Both sides head into the series on the back of excellent ODI track records. England have lost just one of their last 10 ODIs and are fresh from amassing the highest ODI total in history against Netherlands. India, meanwhile, have won six of their last 10 games in the format, which includes a 3-0 sweep of West Indies at home earlier this year.The last time India came to The Oval, they took a 2-1 lead in the Test series last year with Rohit Sharma scoring 127 in the second innings. Rohit will hope to create more happy memories here, as will his likely opening partner Shikhar Dhawan, who in five ODIs at this venue has scored 443 runs at an average of 110.75, with three centuries and a fifty. While there is so much for Liverpool supporters to be positive about, there is concern surrounding the futures of a number of players whose contracts expire in the next 12 months.
Here’s who they are…
1 Trent Alexander-Arnold Contract expires: 30th June 2025

Now rightly seen as one of the finest full-backs of his generation, Trent Alexander-Arnold has already achieved so much at the age of just 26.
A Champions League and Premier League winner, Liverpool’s vice-captain has produced extraordinary quality from right-back, racking up 85 assists in the process.
However, his current Reds deal runs out at the end of this season, and it is common knowledge that Real Madrid see him as a perfect long-term replacement for Dani Carvajal.
There is concern from Liverpool supporters that Alexander-Arnold hasn’t openly said he wants to remain at his boyhood club, meaning he naturally feels the most likely of those out of contract in the summer to move on this summer.
To lose him at this point in his career would be a massive blow for the Reds, and he has a huge decision to make in his career, not least in terms of his legacy at Anfield.
If he stays, he will likely be the future captain and be one of the all-time great players in the club’s history, but if he leaves, his reputation will forever be tarnished.
It is easy to see why both outcomes appeal to Alexander-Arnold given how big the lure of Madrid is to many, but a host of Liverpool players have left during this era and quickly fallen away, whether that be Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane or Jordan Henderson, among others. That should act as a warning to him.

The least high-profile of the four Liverpool players who can leave Anfield in 2025 is young goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros, who has made two appearances this season.
The Czech was thrown on late in the day in the Premier League clash at Crystal Palace in October following an injury to Alisson, doing a solid job.
It is clear that Jaros’ pathway is extremely limited when it comes to getting minutes, not only because Alisson remains arguably the world’s best ‘keeper, but also due to Caoimhin Kelleher being a great backup option.
Giorgi Mamardashvili was signed from Valencia last summer, and while he has remained on loan there for the 2024/25 campaign, the likelihood is that he will be part of the first team in some form later this year.
This all means that Jaros leaving on a free transfer when his deal expires makes complete sense, allowing him to join a club where he is more likely to feature regularly. It is hard to see him even becoming second-choice any time soon, which is surely not ideal for him.
3 Mohamed Salah Contract expires: 30th June 2025

There arguably hasn’t been a better player in the world this season than Mohamed Salah, who continues to find freakish levels of attacking brilliance.
The Egyptian has been vocal about his Liverpool future in interviews and on social media, continually suggesting that this is his final season at the club.
That said, he has made it clear that he is happy at Anfield, instead hinting that the club haven’t spoken to him enough or offered him the terms that he wants in an extension.
While no player is bigger than the club, Salah has shown this season why he is such an indispensable figure, and there is no reason why he should slow up over the next few years.
He keeps himself in incredible shape, is a true professional and is the type of driven character who will want to be breaking records for many more years to come.
At this point, it would still be a surprise if Salah didn’t sign a new contract, despite his comments, but that’s not to say that it’s a given. Far from it.

Virgil van Dijk completes the trio of Liverpool legends whose contracts have dominated the headlines in recent months, as the Dutchman continues to outline his status as one of the best centre-backs of all time.
The 33-year-old has been as good as ever this season, performing at a colossal level and securing the Reds’ defence when they’ve started to creak at the back during games. For all of Salah’s magic, he is the most important player for Slot, and will be moving forward.
Like his Egyptian teammate, Van Dijk isn’t getting any younger, but age is only a number and the Liverpool captain has made it perfectly clear that he still has plenty of years still left in him at the top level.
Out of himself, Alexander-Arnold and Salah, the Netherlands international feels the most likely to sign on without too many issues, even though it is frustrating how late in the day the club have left it. Seeing him depart would be an enormous shock, not to mention a body blow for the Reds.
Liverpool supporters will be split when it comes to who the most important player to tie down is, but it wouldn’t be a surprise at all if Van Dijk got the most votes, following seven remarkable years at Anfield. A contract extension is an absolute no-brainer.
